Let's Get Physical: WestinWORKOUT

We don't know why the "workout" part of WestinWORKOUT has to be capitalized but we are assuming it's because they want some attention. Or maybe it's because their exercise offerings are so high-impact, that nothing but all caps will do.

Here's how to break it down. Select Westin hotels with the WestinWORKOUT program have state of the art fitness centers that included time efficient, high performance workouts designed by Reebok.

The room is full of cardio machines with requisite flat-screen TV monitors by LifeFitnessTM and PrecorTM, in addition to weightlifting machines and in some spots, a pool.

Since the hotel has partnered with Reebok, the focal point of the gym has to be the "Reebok Core Training Zone" with its special Reebok equipments such as core boards, medicine balls, resistance bands and stability balls which are all designed to help you strenghthen your core muscles.

If you hate the gym, Westin partnered with Runner's World to create pocket-sized jogging maps specific to the city you are staying in that highlights suggested trails and points of interest. The RunWESTIN program, available in particpating hotels, also takes guests on guided runs throughout the city and offers water bottles, towels and stretching tips.

If you like to work out but not in front of other people, then you may qualify for the cardio machine rental which is available at select properties. Because no one should have to see you sweat. However, if you are like us any exercise machine in the room might end up another place to throw your dirty clothes.
