So the rate is not under $200 which is what we would strive for from a decent clean (no bedbugs) hotel in New York City. But at $239 a night for a deluxe room, the Shoreham Hotel in Mid-town throws in some Memorial Day bonuses such as continental breakfast for two; two tickets to the Museum of Modern Art (and a special MoMA gift); two tickets to the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum; two tickets to the Central Park Zoo; a one-day unlimited MetroCard; and late checkout.

The hotel is a boutique hotel with flat-panel televisions in every room and Aveda bathroom amenities but sans the coolness of some of Manhattan's other boutiques. However, it was voted one of Forbes' Best Busines Hotels for 2005 after a multimillion dollar, ten-month renovation was completed last October.

The offer is good for Memorial Week from May 21 to 30 hence the spicy name, Memorial Day Cultural Week Fiesta.
