St.Patrick's Day: Chicago
Every March 17th the Windy City turns green in celebration of all things Irish. There's nothing more festive than sipping on a Guinness while checking out the South Side St. Patty's Day Parade, or just wandering along the green-dyed river. Just be sure to find a hotel that's conducive for nursing a good green hang-over.
The most Irish rooms in Chi-town are at the Hotel Fitzpatrick. It's the best Irish choice along the Magnificent Mile, and even has bacon and cabbage at the hotel pub as well as Aer Lingus on speed dial.
When you're hung over you don't want to move so the Fitzpatrick is offering some long-stay specials: 20% off the best available rate if you stay 3 nights, and 25% if you stay four.
Also, when you're hung over there's a chance you might barf. Good thing the Fitzpatrick isn't one of those super-decked out hotels with designer carpeting. The slightly worn patches only add to festive spirit.
