Fake Writers Like the Maritime
As we last reported, fake writer/person JT Leroy is a fan of the Hotel Vitale in San Francisco but now we hear that he/she/they are fans of the Maritime Hotel in New York.
The movie version of the story "The Heart is Deceitful Above All Things", written by Leroy has been made into a movie and the premiere party was held last night. The team that now constitutes the persona of JT Leroy--Laura Albert (the writer) and Savannah Knoop (the face) were acting like such divas during their entire trip in from Cali. Considering no one thought they would dare show, imagine the surprise when they did and demanded suites at the Maritime Hotel.
No word yet on whether they actually got these suites but considering the hotel uses faux murphy bed, we think this might be a perfect match for them.
