Sir Francis Drake Wants You in Their Bed

Kimpton's San Fran boutique hotel, The Sir Francis Drake, has a bunch of deals going on but we like the Bed & Breakfast special where queen-sized rooms are available for $139 a night and you get breakfast for two in the hotel's Cafe Espresso that includes you choice of coffee or tea, fresh fruit and choice of a house-made pastry.
We randomly selected a time frame of Mar. 10-26 and all of those days are available except the 18th.
Another offer is the We'll Park It package which is $149 and includes valet parking. But you'll have to fend for yourself for breakfast.
A recent guest warns against asking for a better room.
When I asked for a nice room, the front desk clerk told us, "I value my integrity, so I must tell you, this hotel is very old. I will do my best."
So just because they want you to sleep with them, doesn't make the Sir Francis Drake a ho.
