February Hotel Deals in Miami

[UPDATE: We did a bit more searching on the interweb and made a few phone calls after originally posting this story...turns out we uncovered some more details, but the truth is out there. As always, rates and availibility can change at any time, so there is no guarantee the below rates will be open when you are booking your February trip to Miami. However, as of 5pm tonight, you could get the following rates if you had the fastest fingers and followed the instructions below.]

Miami Beach is hosting the South Beach Food & Wine Fest from Feb. 24-26 and rooms are still available on the cheap, but probably not for long.

The New York Post helps break down the choices, starting with the The Catalina Hotel which is offering a $75 room rate deal for certain dates.

Call 305.674.1160 or send an e-mail to reservations@catalinahotel.com. Ask for your dates at the $75 rate and someone will get back to you with the status of availability

The Albion is going for $140 most February nights, and the The Royal can be had for $109 on the 20, 21, 22, 23 of Feb.

Lastly, The Townhouse has rooms for $160 and if you are sick of the slick, hip, modern hotels of Miami this one has old-time red telephones, a library and rooftop waterbeds. Call 305-534-3800 or book online.
