Hollywood Roosevelt: Winetasting With Kirsten Dunst

It was bound to happen eventually, and last night it finally did. HotelChatter lifted our self imposed moratorium on all things Roosevelt and attended a Roosevelt party. After successfully gaining entry into the famed Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel we were all set to report on the wild and crazy Tropicana Bar antics and celebrity makeout sessions, until we figured out we were attending a very subdued Learn About Wine event.

The wine-tasting event, which featured 60 Napa wineries, was held in the ballroom of the hotel and adjacent to the poolside lounge.

Attending the event was--randomly--Jason Biggs and his BFF Eddie Kay Thomas, thanks to their American Pie fame. Oh, and tucked away in the corner of the lobby/lounge, far away from the wine-tasting event, we spotted Kirsten Dunst drinking her own glass of wine with a few friends. No, as far as we could tell she did not receive an ice cream sandwich from the staff.

When she noticed that a group of wine enthusiasts had taken over her hotel for the night, and included C-list actors, she bailed. Kiki probably put down her glass immediately and sought shelter in the arms of the nearby Avalon club where a pre-Grammy party bash was going off.

Of course, lucky for us, and for you, our camera was not cooperating, so the photos we have to offer are dark and myserious.
