Clive Davis has ditched the Beverly Hills Hotel as the location for his hot pre-Grammy party shindig tonight and is now using the more spacious Beverly Hilton so as to give celebs more breathing room. Oh yeah, and not to get into trouble with police and fire.

"Last year, we had a problem with the fire marshals," Davis told The Associated Press on Monday.

Davis likes to keep the list of performers as a surprise. Those familiar with the event say Kelly Clarkson, Jamie Foxx, Chris Brown and Heather Headley will be among the top performers.

For those who live in Los Angeles, it would probably be a very wise idea to avoid Wilshire Boulevard and Santa Monica at all costs today.
