From W to BLUE

What was formerly known as the W in Sydney's Woolloomooloo Bay, has been rechristened BLUE and has just reopened today.
The Taj Hotels group bought the hotel from Starwood last month, although the W group is still managing the hotel.
The origin of the name stems from the hotel's unique location in the middle of the Sydney Harbor, near the historic wharf and close to the shopping and business districts, the Opera house and the Royal Botanical gardens. The hotel has 100 guest rooms, including sweet bi-level loft suites, but its biggest claim to fame is the Water bar which was voted one of the "Top 5 Bars in the World" by Wallpaper magazine in 2004 and one of the "Top 10 Bars in the World" in 2003 by Conde Nast Traveler.
Judging from the pics on TripAdvisor we think BLUE was an easy name to come up with since most of the decor seems to come in only this color.
