Checking in on Miami: Hotel Victor

It's been more than a year since the Penguin Gate of 2005 marked the beginning of Hotel Victor. and even though we stayed overin December, we just can't get enough.

Upon arriving we noticed three sorority-type chicks up on the pool roof, facing the balcony. All three bottle-blondes were lying on their stomach facing Ocean Drive and the beach with their sidekicks opened and no doubt texting each other.

Seems like things are progressing very nicely at Victor.

But then we spotted some children roaming about the lobby. Two young boys in fact. We were horrified. Isn't Hotel Victor supposed to keep these types of guests out? Isn't that what the bouncer at the front door is for? Luckily, our horror passed when their parents scooped them up and took them back to their rooms. Still it was a shock.

Unfortunately, we came too early for the doggie happy hour which is held on Sundays at the hotel from 5pm to 7pm. They offered pooches cold water and gourmet treats while owners sip on cocktails.

Hmm...seems like they are trying to make good with PETA now.
