Ashlee and Carmen: Suite Designers

We knew there was something funny about Carmen Electra and Ashlee Simpson showing up for the sales event for the Hard Rock San Diego Condo-Hotel where suites are going for $400,000 to $1.5 million.

Well, US Weekly confirms our suspicions by reporting that Carmen will be designing a "Rock Star Goddess Suite" with a heart-shaped bathtub and a stripper pole.

Ashlee will design a Surfer Rock Chick Suite, despite the fact that she is neither surfer nor a real rock chick. I guess the idea for the Ultimate Lip-Syncher Suite was passed on.

But just think how much fun that could be! It could be set up like the SNL stage. Ashlee's costume from that night would be in the closet ready for you to wear. In the bathroom, there would be a Do-it-yourself black hair dye kit and a wash-off tattoo collection. The walls would be plastered with dartboards with Jessica's face on it. Instead of a butler, you would have a Joe Simpson look-a-like tending to all your needs and a big button in the middle of the room that says, "Push this, then blame it on the band."
