Hotel Teatro in Denver is billed as the city's only luxury boutique hotel. It also won the best hotel in Denver award and has been recognized by Travel + Leisure. The fact that the hotel offers so many great packages and special offers to guests makes it even more appealing.

For theater lovers, there's the Theater package which starts at $230 and includes a room, tragedy/comedy theatre masks made of fine Belgium chocolate, and a complimentary pair of elegant theatre binoculars, among other things. Plus the concierge will of course arrange your tickets for any shows you want to see.

We know Denver is way off-Broadway, but c'mon give them points for trying.

An even better package is the Altitude Adjustment package, recommended for those who fly into Denver before heading up to the mountains. At $225 it includes a room, lip balm, sunscreen, Aveda bath products and your choice of pillow from the hotel's pillow preference program.

We booked a Pretty in Pink package and it was so creative and fun. We got girltinis, a feather boa and a personal shopper at Neimans gave us style tips. The hotel is so charming and the service was great. The concierge booked spa appointments for us and made a dinner reservation at a restaurant downtown. One of the hotel drivers took us to dinner in the hotel's Escalade. It was a very memorable experience.

So while the hotel ride is pimped out, it's good to know a little bit of fame has not gone to this hotel's head.
