Ashlee Simpson and Carmen Electra Rock Out for San Diego

Ashlee Simpson and Carmen Electra showed up for the Hard Rock San Diego's kick-off sales event yesterday.

As we reported last month the condo-tel is just going up and it plans on bringing a rock star element to this laid-back city.

Actually, Ashlee Simpson was the host of the private 600-invitee party that featured rock band Hoobastank, the rapping Ying Yang Twins, and guitarist Benji Madden.

Looks like hosting the party left Ashlee a little hit up though.
