An Airport Hotel That Makes You Go "Mmmm..."

It's not that we think airport hotels are bad, it's just that they are serve a wham bam thank you mam kind of crowd. Nobody really sets out to go stay at an airport hotel

However, thanks to a generous tipster, we discovered that the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver Airport has many happy guests.

The room was very nice, clean, bright, floor to ceiling windows(overlooking [airport terminal] gates), huge bathroom, 2 sinks, separate shower, jet tub, bathrobes, plush towels, marble....Next morning 5am wake up call and was out of the hotel and downstairs, 10 minute walk to domestic terminal to catch our 7am flight.

Additionally, we heard the hotel serves up a delicious burger which is probably well deserved after gross airplane food.
