Denver Hotel Scene Gets New Life
Last month, blind hotel booking site, Hotwire, ranked Denver #1 in its Travel Value Index, a list of cities with the best bang for your buck.
This winter, Denver has some area-hotels going for less than a $100 a night. In true Hotwire fashion, they list a 4-star hotel in Cherry Creek, just minutes from Denver proper for $87 a night.
Now, the Loews Denver is trying to get in on the tourist action by announcing the Crush Suite, devoted to the state's AFL team, the Colorado Crush.
Available only from mid-January to May 2006, the suite has one-of-a-kind autographs and memorabilia along with an entertainment center that will satisfy the dreams of every rabid AFL fan. They will also get a copy of the 2006 version of the EA Sports "Arena Football."
Donald Trump is even putting in his two cents or ($20 mil) by revealing his plans to construct a single-tower five-star luxury condo and hotel building in downtown Denver. In true Donald fashion, he hinted that it could be the tallest building in Denver. (We know, this is the second time we mentioned Donald. We can't help but to love and hate him.)
Additionally, there are plans to put a Four Seasons and a Ritz-Carlton in the city as well.
Next up, Hooters!
