Vamos a La Playa: Cabo San Lucas

Vamos a La Playa! This week we are focusing on Mexican beach getaways. First up is Cabo San Lucas.

The Esperanza Resort. is located on Punta Ballena or Whale Point for you non-Spanish speaking travelers.

The resort offers whale-watching in the winter (now through March) and lots of fishing tournaments during the summer.

The accomodations are luxurious with 50 oceanview casitas and six luxury suites. There's also a spa and a yoga studio, an oceanfront pool, tons of water activities and even golf nearby.

Even better the hotel has rare tequila tasting events. If you don't drink, we heard the non-alcoholic drinks in the mini-bar were free. Totally worth the $550 a night for double rooms, right?
