Water Main Bursts in San Diego

A water main broke over the weekend in San Diego's mission beach that flooded the streets and shut down water service in the area, including two hotels the Bahia Resort Hotel and Dana Inn.

The cause of the break was most likely due to corrosion of the pipe from the old age, but the hotel guests had to have water wagons brought to them, which are essentially tanks full of water that you scoop out what you need.

Not quite the romantic getaway some folks were counting on.
