Hooters Hotel Update: World Domination Imminent

With just hours until the Hooters Hotel Casino opens, we can hardly contain our excitement.

KLAS TV in Las Vegas reports that the opening this Thursday will kick off at 9pm with a live fireworks show.

The news station also interviewed a very confident Richard Lanlois, vice president of Hooters marketing, who said that the chain gets 60 million customers through its 400 domestic stores.

If we get a small portion of that business when they come to Vegas, this is going to be the busiest casino on the Las Vegas Strip."

Um...yeah. With that kind of fuzzy math Hooters world domination can not be far off.

Anyways, the casino has 656 rooms and suites, nine restaurants and bars including three large stages for live entertainment. There will be nearly 700 slot and video poker machines and 32 table games.

The Movable Buffet has more details about the opening day which the Hooters Calendar girls will receive a key from the city of Las Vegas and that night, the "Orange Carpet" will be rolled out for the celebrity blackjack tourney.

They do make one very good point that redeems the Hooters marketing team. The hotel casino is opening up the weekend of the Superbowl. We changed our minds, you guys are brilliant!
