The Orchard Garden Hotel is Now Open

We've been waiting for the Orchard Garden Hotel in San Francisco to open and it appears that the city's newest eco-hotel has finally allowed guests to check-in.

The website still says "Opening in October" but we spoke with a person at the hotel who assured us they were taking guests. Currently the only rooms that are available are on the 3rd and 5th floors with starting rates of $149, not a bad deal for San Fran during the holidays.  However, as with all soft-openings not everything is in order, including the hotel restaurant. No word on when that will open but at least the Hotel Hype case is closed on this hotel for now.
