Ah, there is nothing better than instant Internet gratification. Hotel maven Michael just emailed us with his Mount Fuji hotel view above. Keep sharing:

I was inspired by the post about the Shinagawa Prince Hotel to share this view. The view from the room at the Kawaguchiko Station Inn in Kawaguchi-ko may have...well, lots of stuff between you and Fuji-san, but you really cannot beat the fact that you are RIGHT THERE.

The hotel itself is a hostel, kind of dodgy and worn, but when it gets around sunset and if you're lucky enough for the clouds to mostly part around the summit, well this is what you see. Hopefully, whatever is being built won't interfere with the view!
