Are You Obsessed with Hotel Stationery Too?

Frequent travelers tend to have their own special quirks to help survive their unusual lifestyle. So we can't blame Southwest Airlines pilot David Evans for admitting a passion for collecting hotel stationery from the various hotels he stays in during the course of his job. And we do think it's sweet that he even takes the time to use it to drop personal notes to family and friends, rather than just bulk emailing them all from every port.

If you have your own hotel stationery fettish, you should check out two that David ranks among his favorites:

My favorite hotel writing paper is found at the Four Seasons Resorts, a wonderful linen stock of paper and note cards with a horizontal grooved texture.  The Grand Wailea Resort on Maui also provides guests with note cards as well as writing paper and beautiful postcards.

So you see, some people choose their hotel based on room size, location, breakfast or price: others just care about the notepaper and the envelopes.
