Wall of memorabilia. We think we spy an actual woman in the picture, not a bunny.

What's behind door #1 looks nothing like what is on door #1.

Ditto.

The Playboy Club inside the Palms Casino is probably every man's first stop nowadays in Las Vegas. That is, until they get there and realize that aside from the bunnies waitressing, tending bar and yes, dealing blackjack, there are no other women inside the place. It's all dudes...in other words, a sausagefest.
We hit up the Playboy Club the other week and the male to zero females ratio worked out quite nicely for us, but the club itself was a bit of a disappointment.
When you first walk into the dimly and seductively lit place, there's a long bar on your left and you step down into a little lounge area with decor designed to fit the pipe-smoking, pajama wearing lounge style of Hugh Hefner. However, the lounge is broken up by card tables where mostly older middle-aged men sat ogling the bunny dealers.
To the back of the lounge is another bar overlooking the strip, with some room for dancing, although not much. Totally blah.
On the left side of the lounge is floor-to-ceiling windows offering unbelievable views of the strip. On the right is Playboy memorabilia. Yet the place is too dark to really make out what this memorabilia is aside from naked centerfolds and pictures of Hef.
The one scandalous thing that made it feel like we were in the Playboy club were the pictures of previous centerfolds on the bathroom stall doors. That's it and after about an hour we headed out. We were about to chalk up our disappointment to being of the wrong sexual persuasion. But then we ran into a group of late-20-something guys who happened to agree and we all took off for the new Palms nightclub, a floor above called Moon.
If Hefner is trying to spin off these Playboy Clubs in other locations, he may want to start hiring actual Playboy models to keep the clientele interested.
Totally NSFW pictures of nude centerfold stall doors after the jump.
