Regent South Beach Ups the Ante of Hotel Luxury with Car-Sitting Services
December 15, 2006 at 1:17 PM | 0 Comments

For people with children, hotels offer baby-sitting services. For people with animals, hotels offer pet-sitting services. But what about people with cars that are practically their babies? Should they be forced to just leave their Lamborghini in the valet parking lot with strange cars and strange people nearby? What about when night falls? Should that little Lamb be forced to sleep alone?
Have no fear. The just opened Regent South Beach is offering nightly car turndown service and essentially a baby-sitting service for your luxury vehicles. The key word there is luxury. That Honda Civic ain't getting no babysitter.
The nightly tuck-in is available to all guest cars. But applications for the car-sitting service require information on the automobile's make, model, year and condition. The turndown service is to include a wash and wax, interior vacuuming, tire pressure check and a daily front-seat gift for the driver. The car-sitting service is to offer a valet to closely monitor the car in the hotel's on-site parking garage until sunrise.
Keep in mind this is also the hotel that offers the Pocket Butler where guests can call the concierge, chauffer or Butler with the touch of a button from a special hand-held device given at check-in. They also had special Art Basel Ambassadors on hand for guests looking to purchase the art they saw during the festival. They also brought forth the Mancation trend with venegeance.
And yes, if you have to ask how much it costs, then you can't afford it.
