It's that time of the year again--hunting for a hotel room for New Year's Eve. We'll be bringing you some of the latest on New Year's Eve hotels this week so send us your questions or suggestions if you got 'em.

If you'd rather spend your New Year's Eve outside of Times Square (and who wouldn't?), the trendy Hotel Gansevoort in the meat-packing district is throwing a rooftop party.

Tickets are $175 a person and include premium open bar from 10pm to 1am, Moet champbagne from 11:30pm to 12:30am and hor'doeuvers from 11pm to 1am. Or you can book the Gansevoort's New Year's Eve Rooftop Retreat Package  which includes accommodations for two,  two tickets to the rooftop party,  a bottle of Moet  & Chandon, complimentary breakfast in Ono and a Morning Dog Hangover tonic.  The package starts at $890 and is available only from Dec. 28-31.

Lastly, you can forgo the rooftop party and hit up the G-Spa Lounge which is only taking table reservations. The kitchen will be open here until 1 and DJ Ryo from Tokyo will be spinning until dawn. Unlike the Hollywood Roosevelt has been known to do, Hotel Gansevoort guests will get priority seating and reservations.
