Hotel Spas: Qua at Caesars Palace
Whether your on vacation or even staying over on a business trip, you deserve to treat yourself at the hotel spa. And with hotel spas fast becoming the all-important amenity (after a hip bar and a restaurant helmed by the celebrity chef du jour), we'll be checking out some innovative hotel spa treatments across the U.S. If you'd like to share your spa story, send us an email letting us know where your most favorite treatment was. But of course, please spare us any hotel happy ending bandit stories.
Of course, you can't mention any big trends in the hotel industry without checking in on what Vegas hotels are doing. When it comes to hotel spas, Caesars Palace will take a huge leap ahead of its competitors when its 50,000-square-foot Qua Spa opens on Nov. 14.
Bathed in natural light and accented by smooth stone flooring, dark wood, and cascading waterfalls, Qua's atmosphere is ideal for relaxed "Social Spa-ing" as well as individual experiences. Reminiscent of the glorious baths of ancient Rome, Qua Baths & Spa creates a vibrant space that highlights the healing power of water.
The spa will feature 51 treatment rooms along with seven facial rooms, a Men's Zone which has a Barber Spa, hydrotherapy tubs, tea lounges and a 5,500 square foot fitness center.
As for the treatments, expect nothing short of over-the-top Vegas style pampering. For instance you can choose to have any part of your body decked out with Swarovski Crystal body art in the spa's crystal body art zone (we have a feeling this will be very popular with the town's "dancers.")
Or you can try the Mystic Journey treatment which begins with a bamboo body exfoliation followed up with some lotioning, massaging, a facial, an eye treatment and a mini scalp massage. In other words, this seems like the next best hangover cure. Just make sure you stay hydrated.
