Forget the top chef and hot hotel restaurant, what about the hotel salon?

The hotel salon offerings seem to range from the "Saloon" salon (usually in Eastern Europe or Asia), the old timer barber shop, and the top of the line, a $1,000-per-cut salons. Of course a place like the Waldorf Astoria has one of those top of the line salons, the Kenneth Salon. So good is this salon that Good Housekeeping raves about it and names its polishing hair cream as their best find in such a category:

Situated in New York City's Waldorf-Astoria Hotel, Kenneth Salon is legendary. Creative Director Kevin Lee wants clients to love their hair, so he steers clear of ultratrendy looks in favor of uncomplicated styles women can do on their own. Our top pick: Polishing Hair Cream ($20) locks out humidity without leaving tresses weighed down or sticky

So, if you want to look like you belong in the Waldorf, you better see Kenneth and make sure your hair is shiny and plays the part.
