A Merry Hotel Christmas: Marco Island Marriott

Recently, the Marco Island Marriott's claim to fame has been their outrageous, $175,000 getaway package which includes a lifetime membership to a nearby golf club.

Perhaps trying to appeal to the little people, the hotel is now offering a Christmas night stay for free. Of course, that's if you stay five or more nights from December 21, 2006 through January 1, 2007.

The hotel plans to get in on the Santa festivities with a holiday-themed sand sculpture, holiday cooking demonstrations, traditional reading of `Twas the Night Before Christmas, and holiday craft sessions.

The hotel spa is also offering guests the chance to relax in a holiday way with their special Peppermint Pleasures menu.

Peppermint pedicures, peppermint facials and peppermint massages will surely help guests unwind and get in the holiday spirit.

Golfing is also available this time of year with two guests playing for the price of one. And you can have a very merry Christmas dinner on the beach at the hotel restaurant, Quinn's.

Rates are starting at $199 a night.
