Are you so exicted to see the annual lighting of the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree that you would be willing to pay $75,000 for a hotel package centered around this event?

The Buckingham Hotel hopes so. From now through Jan. 8 the hotel is offering their Rock Center Holiday Package for two which includes:

a vintage Rolls-Royce limo, a helicopter, a fancy lunch, a duplex penthouse suite in the Buckingham Hotel and some truffled snacks.

And if you're a real tree hugger, you get to keep the mini replica of the famous Christmas tree that will await you in the Martinelli Penthouse suite. Also, a private skating session on the ice at Rock Center for two will be available after the fancy lunch at Rock Center Cafe.

More bang for your buck comes in the form of an extended helicopter tour of the city, and a gilded replica of the Prometheus statue, a Swarovski Rhodium and a Crystal 2006 Tree pin as parting gifts.

Of course, this package isn't something you book online. You must call the hotel's managing partner, Steven Shapiro, for reservations.

Re: A Merry Hotel Christmas: The Buckingham Hotel

Take it from someone who knows, their duplex penthouse is awesome. It it was in a more hip hotel like Gansevoort it would be like $10,000 a night.
