Our tipsters in Miami are hearing rumblings that Nicky O South Beach Hotel will not open until later this Spring due to "typical Miami delays." So let's review this. First we heard November. Then we heard New Year's Eve and next was February. We honestly would not be surprised if this project got shelved entirely. And is it wise to have a hotel open in Miami in the Spring when most people are done with their warm-weather getaways? A real Hilton Hotel would not let this happen.

As for the typical Miami delays, we're guessing obtaining the right building and city permits is just one-half of the battle. Nicky Hilton and her crew have been plagued by legal disputes involving design plans and trademarks.

We think Kevin Federline has a better chance of impregnating a new girlfriend before this hotel opens.
