Britney Spears to Complete Fake Comeback at Palms Hotel

Not that we like to admit this but we did have high hopes for Britney Spears' comeback. She ditched K-Fed, appeared on Letterman all trim with a mature hair-do and spent the rest of the week looking pretty glam like we always wanted her to.

Then she headed on down to Louisiana, sported a blonde wig and smoked at a family restaurant with son in tow. Still, we just figured she was trying to fit in with the locals. But no, she headed onto Vegas, got crappy fake hair extensions, crappy fake nails, partied with Paris Hilton, and dropped trou.

Now, she's back in Los Angeles with Paris again, wearing some god-awful leopard print dress and looking just as bad as before, this time without a pregnant belly.

So you ask, what does this have to do with hotels? Well, Britney's favorite Las Vegas spot, The Palms is thinking about signing her on for a 20-week, $15 million exclusive performance contract in their new concert venue.

Perhaps the Maloof brothers should carefully evaluate this contract. Sure, there are some people who would pay top-dollar to see Britney Spears but we think that if her "comeback" keeps going along this type of downward spiral, we're not sure the rest of the world would pay to see Britney lip-synching again.
