The Polygamist's Motel of Choice

We aren't trying to make light of polygamy at all here especially when church elders force young girls into marriage. But just in case you're looking for a motel in Caliente, Nev., beware of some of the guests staying at the Caliente Hot Springs Motel.

Former sect leader Warren Jeffs of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, who was on the run from the FBI for two years before being captured in August, conducted polygamist ceremonies there, sometimes involving underage girls.

During the weddings the women dress in white and say "I do," after repeated their vowels but instead of a wedding hall or chapel, it is a small hotel room with a bed, kitchenette and a dresser. The newlyweds also perform a secret handshake at the end of the ceremony.

The room of choice in case you want the specifics was Room 15. We guess they can't all be as "normal" as the Henrickson's on Big Love.
