The Venetian aims to transport people to the Piazza San Marco of Venice, Italy, replicating the famous tower and the city's charming canals, minus the hordes of people and birds.
What we love about the Venetian? The Grand Canyon Ranch Spa, the generous Wheel of Fortune slot machines, the low-cheese factor, great dining options and the all-suite rooms. What we don't love? The incessant advertising for their in-house shows, the lame shops, and the crappy poolside band.
Gaudy Themed Attraction
Singing gondoliers rowing around the indoor water maze designed to look like the canals of Venice. Also the painted sky is not only gaudy but seriously disorienting when you are trying to find your room at 2am.
