The Delano is Mad for Art Basel

As we told you yesterday, The Delano was getting in on the Art Basel festival by hosting the random Swarovski Crystal party on Dec. 5th.

The Delano hotel will be celebrating the re-release of the classic 1969 biker flick, Easy Rider.

And Hopper, who played hopped-up hippie Billy, will the host the invitation-only dinner for 100 on Friday, December 8, along with the Morgans Hotel Group and Art Basel.

Other special guests during the evening will include Bob Colacello, acclaimed contributor of Vanity Fair and former editor of Interview magazine. Guests will then be invited to the Art Bar at the Delano where they will wax superficial on the genius of the film, among other things, including zen and the art of high maintenance.
