We're assuming that even though LA scares her, she still wants to be in the middle of what's happening in Hollywood. So we are offering up the Sunset Tower Hotel. Like the Roosevelt, the Sunset Tower has old Hollywood history. In its former life as the Argyle, the place counted Truman Capote, John Wayne, Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor, and Frank Sinatra as among its frequent guests.
The hotel's grand reopening last spring got off to a really rocky start but since then it looks like the hotel has found its footing. Indeed George Clooney and Renee Zellweger were spotted canoodling there in the hotel's restaurant, the Tower Bar.
And although we have yet to try out the hotel pool, the pics on the web site have us intrigued--in that marketing gloss kind of way. Plus, they offer views of the city skyline while the Roosevelt offers you views of the Tropicana bar and other people's rooms.
And lastly the place has free WiFi. But what we probably like the best about this place is that for Friday, October 13, the rooms were starting at $245.
