Cruising For Pretty Leaves :: Inn on Biltmore Estate
If you want to try another place for Fall Foliage than New England, About.com recommends the Inn on Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina for some leaf-peeping.
Currently the hotel is offering their Harvest Home Celebration which is actually a bunch of celebrations running now through October 22nd such as bluegrass music, corn shelling and grinding demos, horse farming demos and folk tales and storytelling. The events take place at different parts of the estates like the Historic Horse Barn, the Farmyard, Firepit and the hotel's very own winery.
Rooms are starting at about $289 for October but if you can't make it for the fall, don't worry the hotel has a whole bunch of holiday packages lined up.
