A Dirty Shower Equals Stinky Guests in Brussels

Here's the deal: you know it's hotel hell when the bathroom is so dirty that you'd rather go days without showering. Oh and did we mention you're on a business trip?

We can only imagine the smelly meetings that underwent in one of the three conference rooms of the Mercure Royal Crowne in Brussels thanks to its apparently lazy housekeeping staff.

It was absolutely the worst hotel I ever stayed in! The room was shabby and dirty, the bathroom (esp. tiles and bathtub) was so filthy that I refrained from taking a shower for two days. Some of the room equipment did not function properly and the staff was unhelpful and rude.

The sad thing is, this hotel appears to be so business friendly and even offers free WiFi. Yet we can't appreciate it knowing a bunch of unshowered people are running around the hotel.

What a bad experience

Too bad this had to happen to you. I have stayed there a few months ago and i did not have any of these problems ( luckely ). I personally found like you said that this is a very business friendly hotel in Brussels Belgium. I would even recommend this hotel in Brussel to anyone but now i read this i think i will think twice about it.
