Where London Game Show Contestants Go on a First Date

A new dating TV show is coming to London. "Playdate" is an interactive dating show that lets audience members or viewers at home pick a date for the contestant. Gee, kinda sounds like an old American show doesn't it?

To launch this new gameshow, Metro News is offering one lucky reader who sets up a Playdate profile, the chance to have their very first date in New YorkCity.

Take your date for dinner at the Rainbow Rooms, 65 floors above New York's famous 5th Avenue, plus a romantic carriage ride around Central Park with twin rooms for you both at the stylish four-star Paramount Hotel in the heart of Manhattan.

Although many hotels in Manhattan are pretty much just enlarged closet spaces, we find it rather funny that this newbie couple will be staying in an itsy bitsy room at the Paramount. Although it sounds like they can sleep in separate rooms, unless sparks fly on that carriage ride.

Let's just hope the couple adds their headshots to the Paramount's weird collection.
