Paramount Hotel Has Unhealthy Obsession with Headshots

Are you an often out-of-work bit part actor looking for some crafty ways to score your next cheap meal?
Then head on down to Manhattan's Paramount Hotel where they are currently letting thespians dine for $5 on the fifth of every month. Sounds too good to be true, right? Well, there is one teeny little catch. You have to hand over a headshot in order to get the discount.
Celebrating the 'Under 5 Rule' (actors whose parts are five lines or less) the hotel will be offering a special three-course menu for $5 in its Mezzanine Restaurant in exchange for actor's currency - the headshot. Beginning October 5th, thespians awaiting their big break can eat like a star at bargain prices when rent is due and funds are tight - friends may be brought along for just $10.
Citing their closeness to Broadway, both in location and spirit, the hotel is just simply trying to do good with this "Headshots for Handouts" promo. And in case an out of work actor now ends up being tomorrow's Next Big Thing, Paramount will have the precious "Before they were stars" headshot hanging on the wall in their Paramount Bar.
