Will The Bowery Hotel Be the Scene of the Next 'Prison Break'?
Yesterday we let you know that the Maritime Hotel owners will be calling their new East Side hotel, The Bowery Hotel as its being built on Bowery and East Third.
Now we're hearing that the hotel may not be in the most desirable lot on the block. A tipster tells us:
What's the over / under on how long it takes before the first hotel guest is robbed or assaulted? The hotel site has a halfway house on one side of it and a methadone clinic on the other. Not to mention there are group homes and ex cons every ten feet around the hotel. Do yourself a favor and check out online the amount of registered sex offenders in that neighborhood/ It's like hanging out in the prison yard at Rikers island.
Um...we prefer not to know where the sex offenders are hiding out but let's just say its more than 10.
