Yippee! Awards season is in full effect! And for us that means crazy celebrity hotel stories.

Terrence Howard (Hustle & Flow) learned of his nomination from bed at the Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angeles.

Initially, at 5:19 a.m., Howard thought he had not been nominated and called the hotel desk to turn off his phone because he didn't want to do "consolation interviews."

When he found out that the announcements were coming at 5:30 a.m. he cancelled the order, except the staff at the hotel must have been sleeping because he didn't get the phone call. Instead, he had to hear it on TV. Then he engaged in something that we wish there were pictures of:

"It felt like I was watching TV in a dream," he says. "I'm damn near 37 years old, and I'm jumping up and down on the bed like my 10-year-old. I was a wild man."

FYI: The Four Seasons is one of the hotels that nominees stay at, and are providing the freebies accordingly, including face cream and booze to nominated actresses.
