W Union Square Diaper Dilemma
According to an extremely niche but totally useful blog for new fathers, Daddy Types, the W Hotel Union Square is not all that Daddy-friendly, since they do not have changing tables in the men's rooms.
There are restrooms on the second floor, to the right out of the elevators (or double back if you go up the large lobby staircase).
One surprise option: the middle elevator goes to "M," which is a private dining area of the lobby restaurant/bar. It was totally empty in mid-day, and the banquette looked very usable.
Lesson learned here? Stay away from that banquette table on the M floor.
