Hooters Hotel Update: Now Hiring!

With a grand opening date of Feb. 3 just around the corner, the Hooters Casino Hotel in Las Vegas--billed as "The Cure for the Common Casino"--is now hiring for Hooter Girls and other positions, such as Front Door hostess and Hairstylist.

The Movable Buffet Blog also has a sneak preview of what the Hooters cocktail waitresses will wear--some sort of silvery spandex dress with white fur trim. (Since it was being modeled by a cat we really couldn't assess it that well.)

On the official Hooters Blog they've posted a picture of the Hooter sign going up. Apparently, Dan Marino even stopped by to see how construction was going on his new restaurant at the hotel.

So what's the skinny on actually staying at the Hooters hotel? According to an insider, the hotel will open after 9pm on Feb.2 and the grand opening will be the next day. Rooms aren't available until the 6th but the going rate that first week is $69 for a week-day, $132 for Friday night and $180 for Saturday.

For god's sake, let's hope this mothership of Hooters can at least cook chicken wings right.
