Are you detail-oriented? Do you love to writing comments when you are treated with especially good or poor or mediocre service? Are you into getting good stuff for free, like hotel services? Are you looking for a career change?

If you answered "Yes" to all these questions, you might want to inspect being a hotel inspector.

USA Today reports on the top travel jobs, and number one on the list is Hotel Inspection.

Trent Walsh, managing director of London-based Leading Quality Assurance Company,

checks into a luxury hotel for a couple of nights, running up bar and restaurant tabs, ordering room service, getting spa treatments and generally having the run of the place. Then, at checkout, he tells the manager exactly what he thinks of the lodging and presents the bill to him or her.

This is not just secret shopping. This job requires knowledge of the hotel industry, and 120 page report at the end of every visit.  

His employees are experienced in the luxury hotel trade and can stand up to a general manager who asks them how they have the audacity to judge the hotel.
