Finally, Someone Decides to Grade Hotel Bedding
After the recent bedbug fiasco, someone has finally taken the initiative to rate hotel mattresses and bedding.
Healthy Hotels Guide will be rating individual hotels and the cleanliness of their bedding, and posting the results online.
By combining a newly developed technology in mattress and bedding sanitisation, with an easily accessible online portal, guests can logon and view their certified Healthy Hotels in each city with ease. The site explains the differences of a certified hotel, as they relate to the hotel guest. It also provides links for booking options should they be required.
Potential guests can also learn about other personal hygiene issues affecting the travel industry, buy unique travel hygiene products and sign-up for a free monthly newsletter about travel and health issues.
The site does not go live until June 2006, but we hope this forces some hotels to get rid of all their bedbugs fast!
