Paddington's Rock & Roll Hotel

Evoking strong opinions is a prerequisite for a rock & roll hotel and The Pavilion is the quintessential love it or hate it hotel.
An LA regular, who loves this place, quips:
I've been staying at this Hotel for 4 years now, the ambience, decor and wonderful people who work here continue to bring me back time and time again.
I try to stay in a different room every time I'm here as they are all so different. Nearby Edgeware Road satisfies all my culinary delights and the tube stop is 2 minutes walk. The area is very safe, which for me, as a woman traveling alone is very important. Breakfast is served in the rooms which is personally also great as I'm a real lazybones in the morning. Theres no doubt this Hotel is only for trendy, or artistic people, as it's a trendy artistic Hotel and caters for those types. If you are square or conservative, stay away! These types of people belong in boring chain Hotels as they obviously cannot appreciate what is without question a mini work of art!.
And a guest who won't be returning says:
We were looking quite forward to staying at the self-proclaimed "rock n' roll" hotel. We arrived to find ammenities that were promised (such as a bar) did not exist. The rooms, although glam and eclectic, were cramped, dusty and dirty.
We were hushed by the staff as we played cards in the outdoor lounge--Don't forget, this is the rock n' roll hotel! Can you imagine what would happen if we were Liam and Noel!?!
It will cost you around ₤100 for the opportunity to have an opinion.
