A must for all Star Trek fans is the museum that begins the experience. On busy days in the summer the displays provide a welcome diversion while waiting in line for the either the Klingon Encounter or Borg Invasion 4D.
Among the displays are the original costumes of most of the main characters of the Star Trek franchise along with replica weapons, models, and graphical displays detailing the history of the show and movies.
After perusing the displays its time to make a decision--Borg or Klingon. Either ride is excellent, combining live theatre, multimedia and good old fashioned thrill ride technology to give you an experience that you will not soon forget.
Klingon Encounter:
Experience what's its like to be transported, take a stroll on a starship bridge, ride a shuttle craft and battle Klingon Bird of Prey while flying over Las Vegas.
Borg Invasion 4D:
Assimilation has never been this good. Fight the Borg invaders, escape in a transport and get assimilated by the Borg Queen in this 4D ride that will have you jumping out of your seat with surprise!
The Star Trek Experience gives the fans their $33.50 worth with all day unlimited access to both rides and the musuem. Be sure to check out Quarks for great food at a decent price.
Just in case you aren't a big Star Trek fan, TripAdvisor has a review for all you earthlings.
EVERY place one went inside smelled strongly of smoke or just plain smelled. The newest area completed is done in an absolutely silly star trek theme. A BIG turnoff. It used to be a classy place.
