NY Times Visits QT

The NY Times Fred Bernstein reviewed Hotel QT. His bottom line:
He stayed in room 805, and commented on the tiny room:buzz doesn't guarantee a pleasant stay.
My room (805), which the front desk labeled "superior," was a very narrow rectangle - not much wider than the king-size platform bed that occupied one end. There was no place for a sofa, but there was a twin bed hanging from the ceiling. This bunk bed, reached via stainless steel ladder, formed a canopy just two and a half feet above the king - comfy or claustrophobic, according to your taste. The rest of the room was devoted to a foyer, a tiny closet and a sink on a wide counter. Under the counter was a small refrigerator (no minibar) and a safe that was large enough for my laptop (the only valuable I travel with). There's free Wi-Fi, but you need to get a password from the front desk.
Remember: Hotel QT is a glorified scene hostel where you can stay the night for under $200--if you keep that in mind you should be fine.
