Toronto Film Festival

Looking for a party hotel in Toronto?

During its brief history Cosmopolitan Toronto has not been known for having the best service, or the most peace and quiet, however, you may want to check it out during film festival week. Many of the early negative Cosmo Hotel reviews came during the properties soft opening period. You know the beta period where a hotel is trying to work out the kinks.

The Cosmo is one of the few stylish boutique hotels in Toronto, and as of late, guests seem to be happier with the rooms and the service--sounds like the beta phase may be over.

The property also features gemstone fountains en suite, 32" plasma screen TVs, a custom meditation channel, air purifiers and big 'ole balconies in order to create a "lifestyle-centered property."

Of course the real reason folks will show up at the Cosmo during festival week will be for the parties, and it looks like Cosmo shouldn't disappoint on that front:

Stayed at this hotel the last weekend of July/first week of August and it was a nightmare. It was party central and we couldn't get a minutes worth of shut eye all night it seemed. Upon several attempts to call the Front Desk to notify them of the disturbance we gave up since it was useless. My husband was also walked in on by a staff person despite the "Rearrange my life" sign (Which is their quirky and somewhat insulting take on the traditional Do Not Disturb Sign at other hotels). I will never return.
