THOR: The Grand Opening is Upon Us

Boston Globe correspondent Bonnie Tsu visits THOR as it prepares to open...no really open. Like take the "Beta" tag off it we guess?

So what does "Grand Opening" mean for THOR? Restaurant open? Probably not. Flat screen tvs working? Mmm. Maybe. Rates go from $259 a night to $325 a night after the September "open"? Yes.

Our little brother said it best:

If you want to pay somewhere around $325 next month rather than the current rates of $259 a night, there's <strike>every chance</strike> a slight chance that you may not have to deal with things like "nonfunctioning flat-screen televisions, no bathroom towel hooks, [and] perhaps a stalled elevator." The views, as far as we know, will remain.
