A Jackson Inn That Doesn't Cater To Tourists From Indiana

[Editor's Note: HotelChatter jweastman chimes in on a secluded romantic inn in Jackson Wyoming. Enjoy.]

Stay away from the flock of bodies, but walk to shops and bistro. Too many of the Jackson Hole hotels cater to the tourists from Indiana, but the one we found in town (and you will want to stay in town) is small, quiet - its on a creek, and reasonable. Inn on the Creek is down with checking you in and leaving you alone.

Owned by locals, the Inn on the Creek is serene and private; staff is welcoming but not over bearing. We stayed in room with balcony on creek and this was nice amenity (not all rooms are creekside, but they have large jacuzzi tubs and fireplace next to bed).

Rates mid $200 peak and mid $100 off peak. Check out Wild Hands Shop in town for unique gifts and momentos.

Jackson is fun town but you need small scale Inn for base camp, and the Inn works nicely.
